Unlocking the Power of Faith: A Guide to Transforming Your Life and Achieving Abundance on Earth

Many people may think that it sounds too good to be true when they hear statements like "you don't have to wait until you get to heaven to prosper and have your needs met." However, the truth is that you can enjoy a world of good here and now. God has already done everything it takes for us to live the highest kind of life right here on earth. He created man to live in His limitless provision and care, and Jesus came so we could have life in abundance—to the full, till it overflows (John 10:10).

Faith is the key to receiving all the good that God has in store for us. Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Whether we need physical healing, a loved one's salvation, more finances, or anything else, we receive it by faith. Romans 10:17 states that faith comes by hearing the Word of God. In order to bring the unseen (what you are believing for) into the seen realm, we must receive what God says in His Word, believe it, and apply it to ourselves personally.

The Spirit of Faith Creates The Scripture tells us that God created the universe in the same way, by using words of faith and power. Hebrews 11:3 states, “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” God said what He desired, believed it, and then saw it manifest. God Himself calls things “which be not as though they were” (Romans 4:17). When He speaks, His words are alive and energized and effective. Hebrews 4:12 tells us there is power in His words to cause whatever He says to come to pass.

You and I create a victorious life here on earth in the same way that God created and framed the worlds. We have the same spirit of faith that He does and it is imparted to us when we are born again. To bring His promises from the unseen realm into the seen realm, we must not only believe, but we also must speak His Word—just as He does (II Corinthians 4:13).

First, faith must be stored up in our hearts by consistently taking in the Word through our eyes and ears. Then, as we meditate on those promises and they become more and more real to us, the spirit of faith within us becomes bold enough to speak that Word in power! When that happens, the words “By the stripes of Jesus, I am healed!” create healing.

No matter what your situation is, or how serious it looks, it can change if you'll hear what God says about it, and put His promise in your heart and in your mouth until all doubt is crowded out. Believe! Say! And see it by faith! That’s what it takes to live a life of victory on earth.

Just being born again doesn't guarantee you a victorious life. You are instantly transformed on the inside when you receive Jesus as your Savior, and you will go to heaven eventually. But for your outer life to be transformed, your mind, and your words must be in agreement with the Word of God, so that you can enjoy life to the fullest here on earth.

Experience Strength, Wisdom and Help: The Benefits of a Living Connection with God

Do you ever wish you had a strong and caring friend to help you through difficult times? If so, the good news is that God is that friend. He has the strength you need and is eager to be a vital part of your daily life.
The Bible states, "The eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show himself strong in the behalf of those whose heart is perfect toward him" (II Chronicles 16:9). The word "perfect" here does not mean without flaws, but rather "faithful, loyal, dedicated, and devoted" to God. He actively searches for people who put Him first and make Him the center of their lives.
For 4,000 years, mankind was separated from God due to sin, but through Jesus' sacrifice on the cross, we have been restored to fellowship with God. This means that as born-again believers, we have full freedom and confidence to enter into God's presence through the power and virtue of Jesus' blood (Hebrews 10:19, The Amplified Bible).
This means that the Creator and Ruler of the universe has made Himself available to meet with us personally every day. We can commune with Him at any time of the day or night. He is saying, "I am here for you. Just draw near to Me and I'll draw near to you. I'll give you the wisdom you need. I'll strengthen and equip you, and help you in every area of your life."
Although He has the solution for every problem, He won't chase us down to get our attention. It's our responsibility to seek Him out. Once we do that, He will be there for us and fulfill His promise in James 4:8. It's important not to wait until hard times come to turn to Him. We should develop a lifestyle of living contact with God, which means setting aside distractions and dedicating time to talk to Him, listen to Him, and commune with Him through reading His Word and prayer. By doing this daily, we will be spiritually strong enough to overcome any challenges that come our way.
As Jesus said, "In the world, we will have tribulation" (John 16:33), but as believers, we don't have to face these trials alone. God promises to be with us in times of trouble and to deliver and honor us (Psalms 91:15). This is why it's essential to maintain a living connection with God.
Jesus teaches us to "abide in me" (John 15:4-5), which means to make our dependency and communion with Him our permanent home. By doing so, we will bear much fruit and have victory in times of trouble. So, let's make it a priority to establish and maintain a living connection with God and experience the strength, wisdom, and help that He generously offers.

Overcoming Defeat and Receiving from God: A Biblical Approach

We all face moments of defeat and discouragement in our lives, but it's important to remember that we don't have to let these feelings control us. By following a biblical approach, we can overcome defeat and receive from God.

  1. Make the decision to not be defeated. In I John 5:4-5, it states that "everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God." By making the decision to not be defeated, and believing in Jesus as our savior, we can overcome the world and its obstacles.

  2. Resist Satan. Satan is the enemy of our souls, and he will try to defeat us by planting thoughts of discouragement and doubt in our minds. But we have the power to resist him, as II Corinthians 10:3-5 says, "For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ." By refusing to entertain Satan's thoughts, and instead taking every thought captive to make it obedient to Christ, we can resist Satan's attempts to defeat us.

  3. Give your attention to God's Word. Proverbs 4:20-22 states, "My son, pay attention to what I say; listen closely to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to one's whole body." By giving our attention to God's Word, we can fix our minds on God's promises, and find strength and guidance to overcome defeat.

  4. Refuse to speak words contrary to what you believe you have received. In Mark 11:23-24, Jesus teaches, "Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." We must refuse to speak words of defeat, doubt, or lack, and instead speak words of faith, believing that we have received what we ask for in prayer.

By following these biblical principles, we can overcome defeat and receive from God. Remember to make the decision to not be defeated, resist Satan, give your attention to God's Word, and refuse to speak words contrary to what you believe you have received. Trust in God's promises and believe that He is able to do more than we can ask or imagine.

The Power of Rising Up: Overcoming Falls in Life

We have all experienced a fall of some magnitude in our lives, whether it be learning to ride a bike, stumbling while running, or tripping over a rock in the woods. The feeling of falling can be unexpected and can leave us with bumps and bruises, both physically and emotionally. If others saw us fall, it can even be quite embarrassing. The enemy would love for us to stay down and discouraged, but we have the power to rise up and overcome.

In our spiritual lives, we all make mistakes. We all have moments where we fall short of our own expectations or the expectations of others. It doesn't feel good, and it's usually unexpected. Sometimes, others see us in our fallen state and it can be embarrassing. We have all been there, and chances are, if God tarries, we will fall again. It happens, it's life, but we have to get back up again.

The enemy's ultimate goal is for us to stay down and give up. When it seems we have no more strength to fight anymore, when we are ready to stop striving to be better, the devil loves this season of our life. However, the Bible says "Rejoice not against me oh mine enemy, when I fall I shall arise.." (Micah 7:8) Not "if" I fall, or maybe, or I might, but WHEN. It's inevitable. It's going to happen. But when it does happen, how are we going to respond?

Three different people's perspectives at the cross serves as a powerful reminder of this concept. It was the darkest hour for Mary, the disciples, and many others. But even in that moment of despair and disappointment, they did not give up on their faith in Jesus. Mary went to see him while it was still dark, seeking him out in her time of need. The disciples, despite seeing Jesus crucified, remembered the promise he had made to them and did not turn their backs on him.

In the same way, we too can find hope and strength in Jesus, even in our darkest moments. It may be easy to give up and stay down, but we must choose to rise up and overcome. We can resist Satan's attempts to defeat us by focusing on God's Word and speaking words of faith, rather than defeat. We must remember that falling down is not the end, it's just a setback on the journey. With the help and guidance of God, we have the power to rise up and overcome.

The Battle for Dominion: Understanding the Differences between God's Kingdom and the Kingdom of Darkness

There are two kingdoms in operation in the earth—the kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness. All mind-sets, ideas, beliefs, and methods of operation fall under one of these categories; there is no gray area. The kingdom of darkness operates through a system the Word refers to as “the world.” It is a way of doing things that opposes the Word of God. The world system is based on the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life (1 John 2:16) and is headed for destruction. Operating according to the dictates of the world positions you for failure and defeat. God desires that Believers switch “systems” so they can get consistent results from the kingdom of God.
The world system is governed by the spirit of selfishness and is ruled by Satan. Everything from the way relationships are conducted to finances is based on principles that are designed to steal, kill, and destroy. We were all born into this corrupt world system, and many of us were a part of it at one point; however, as Christians we are now a part of a new kingdom and, consequently, a new system of operation. When we talk about kingdoms, there are a few key things to consider so that we can gain concept of how things work. There are some established principles about kingdoms that apply to both God’s kingdom and the kingdom of darkness. First, every kingdom has a king, and every king has dominion in his respective area of influence. Kingdoms have territories, as well as citizenship that is made up of people who are a part of that particular kingdom. Kingdoms have a constitution or set of rules that govern how the kingdom operates, as well as a government that involves hierarchy. Kingdoms also have armies that go to battle against other kingdoms when necessary. Those who are born again are a part of God’s kingdom and are to no longer govern their lives according to the world’s system. Our King is Jesus and our constitution is the Bible, which contains the guidelines for how we are supposed to conduct ourselves in the kingdom of God. The government of heaven is comprised of Jesus, those who have made Him Lord of their lives, and angels, who make up God’s army. The territory that belongs to us is the entire earth. Though the enemy has gained a lot of territory for his purposes and agenda, our job is to take back what God originally intended for us to have by spreading the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Believers have a specific area of influence that will enable them to take territory for the kingdom of God. We each play a vital role. The gifts, callings, abilities, and strengths God has endowed each person with is designed to help establish and advance the kingdom. There are people in our immediate circle of family and friends who we have been called to minister to. And there are arenas God has called us to infiltrate for kingdom purposes. We are called to go out into the world, into the marketplace, and into the public sector to bring the reality of the kingdom to people so they can ultimately give their lives to the Lord. Being effective for God’s kingdom will mean making some difficult decisions at times. The biblical account of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego is a great example of how choosing the kingdom of God over the world system results in deliverance, protection, and preservation. These three Hebrew men refused to bow down to the god of Nebuchadnezzar, even in the face of execution. They were thrown into a fiery furnace because they wouldn’t worship a false god, but God showed up in the fire and delivered them. The Bible says that not one hair on their heads was singed (Daniel 3:27). Choosing God’s kingdom will mean saying no to the seduction and enticement of the world and turning away from the temporary pleasure of sin. In choosing God’s way of doing things, we will definitely face opposition and persecution. However, God will always deliver us and promote us when we trust Him.
